Does anyone know what the hook looking thing on the lower p/s dash board is and/or what it's used for.I'm just curious.It's been buggin' me since I've owned my '05.

My ex used to hang her purse from it. Didn't want to put it on the floor, especially since I have only the rubber floor!

 

use it to hang my hat for a few years.

 

Use it to hang air fresheners

 

Comes in handy for plastic type shopping bags so they don't roll all over and out of reach from the driver's side.

 

Only thing I've ever found a use for it for was to pull on when I needed to get access behind the radio. I think it's typically meant to use for a trash bag but I don't keep trash in my truck.

 

I checked the owner's manual out of curiousity and it simply labels it as a bag hook. I use it all the time when running errands since the kids would make a mess of whatever I'd set on the floor/back seat next to them.
