Random misfire means more than 2 cylinders are misfiring, this is a long shot but pre cat o2 sensor could be the problem

Is this something I can change at home? (sorry, I'm a noob with this stuff) I have read a few things that it could be having trouble getting fuel, or running too rich/lean. But I just find it weird that all I have to do is turn the car off, then back on and it works.

You may be able to. The only thing you need special is a socket to slide over the wire going to the o2.
The Pre Cat o2 regulates the Fuel air ratio. If you do decide to change the o2 only go back to the original o2 MFG. NTK was who made mine i had to buy 4 of them because i bought 2 cheap ones that dont work well with the PCM got me some NTKs havent had a problem. 5 min change. And if your cheap like me go to ROCK AUTO.COM there o2 sensors are half the price of a parts store

No you only have 2

1 pre cat one post cat

Pre cat controls air/fuel ratio
Post cat o2 controls you passing emissions

Upstream is Pre cat
Downstream is post cat

Thanks a lot for the help. I am looking on rock auto for the right sensor, and just want to make sure I get the right one. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php
It looks like there are 4 to choose from which is why I was asking if I had 4. Which one of those is it?

That was a little more confusing then mine i had one that stated UPSTREAM and another Item that stated DOWNSTREAM.

Id start with the one labeled Up stream on rockauto.
Not sure why the other says both Up and Down
