Thanks, repair took 1/2hr and wipers are working correctly now.

FYI, if you've ever had your windshield replaced you most likely won't need to worry about the little clips for the wipers. The glass shop will have lost them for you.

Hi, I have an "02" 1500 that only high speed works on the wipers and when I shut them off the blades stop where they are and don't return home.

Default Wipers staying in up position

I did this as described and all worked well, didn’t look to bad inside the contact area.

When I assembled everything thing back together my wipers home position is at the top of the wipers travel now instead of the bottom of the window. Any ideas? I am pretty sure I put the rounds disk with the two spring contacts back in the same orientation...

Maybe your motor got installed in reverse? I’m really not sure, sorry. It’s been a long time since I did this. I was re reading the original post and that’s my best guess.

Finally decided to try this on my old 2005 truck and the intermitten function is working again. Big thanks to those who posted this original fix without replacing the motor.
