Hope it helps you out, its pretty easy and cheap, and has a better than 50% success rate from what I can gather, hopefully it works for ya!

 

So i performed the fix today and low and behold it does work...it took all of 20-30 minutes. I used a fine brillo pad on the contacts and obviously cleared all the old grease and then used some electrical cleaner before coating with white grease.....

you running a HEMI or the 4.7? I am thinking about dropping some headers on mine....Nevermind just saw your statement under your pic....Hemi...

 

Sooo, day two after the fix and it is back to running multiple times on the lowest setting, I guess I am going to have to bite the bullet and just get a reman'd unit and check it out before I put it in.

 

Well the cleaning of the motor only lasted a couple weeks and then it quit working again. I kicked down and brought a new oem motor off ebay for $65.00 and put it in last night. It seem to be working now, were gonna get some rain in the next few days and we'll see.

 

Hopefully that proves to be a long term fix for ya, 65 isnt too bad.

 

Maybe I'll search for on w on ebay as well or chance it with a reman'd from the store....I'll keep you posted.

 

Well it's been about 3 weeks with lots of rain and the new wiper motor seems to be working perfectly! It that changes I'll repost, Thanks for all the help!!!

Thanks for posting this fix. I just did mine today, and the wipers work as good as new. This forum has saved me lots of $$$ over the years
