Please help!!!! Driving me nuts
Heyy..i am nee to the forum and hope i am doing this right..i have a 2006 ram 1500 4x4 5.7l hemi..ever since i bought the truck my speedometer seems to "lag" at times..ill be accelerating and itll randomly freeze for a brief moment than keep going..when it does freeze my turn signals freeze on the cluster to..lights on the outside continue to work fine but it freezes on the cluster..wgen it is colder out like below 45 it works perfectly! I have replaced the input and output sensor..driver side hub..sensor in the rear diff..and put a brand new cluster in..still no fix.

Sounds like a bad electrical circuit somewhere behind the cluster, or possibly a bad main ground.
So check your grounds first, then pull the cluster and see if the harness is burnt/melted or if there are any damaged wires behind it.
You can also check the cluster itself for damage as well.
Your other option is to bring it to a reputable dodge dealer and have them take a look.

I would say that it sounds like a ground issue.
If you search on here there is a thread somewhere about where the grounds are at... but worse comes to worse look for black wires from the negative battery lead, and starter... those are the big grounds....
It also sounds like you have a major clockspring problem, so I'd prolly replace that too.
