Thanks. Well been here for an hour and they said its illegal for them to turn them on both hi/low beam. Not to mention i had to give them the part numbers for them to check with Chrysler to add as a sales code in to the starscan. He said he might be able to turn the DRL's on. When i started giving him some of my knowledge if got of the lovely forums he quit treating me like a dummy. Lol.

glad to hear it

I don't like DRLs... they waste so much of the bulb's life it isn't funny.

My father is constantly replacing the DRL's which turn to low beams when headlights are turned on, but yeah... I'm glad my truck doesn't have them.

I guess i didn't think about the fact of the bulb life. Maybe when i go back to get my new key programmed i'll have them turn them off.

Has anyone used this setup or made one on an 06 up? I just cant justify spending $25 on something i can make considering i have relays wire etc. Im just worried once again about the TIPM.

don't buy that POS!

Buy this:

Find your year and which you want... there is one on there that will allow you to keep the fogs, lows and highs all on at the same time or in almost any combination.... enjoy

That's nice. It looks to be a plug and play kit. No tapping into wires or cutting the harness. A little pricey but nice setup.

I will likely be getting one for myself in the future... I mean I could definitely make one that does the same thing as this, because all it is, is a set of 2 or 3 relays that use the harness that plugs into the headlights as a switching mechanism, and has a load resistor to complete the circuit.

Most likely using SPDT relays..... I might explore a kit like this that would be at a lower price... Hmmmmmm. Interesting.
