Angry About to trade my Dodge in for a Chevy

So i still can't figure out why my 06 Dodge 1500 is mis fireing when its cold. Now I was headed down the road to the store and was going around a curb and it stalled. I have changed the pack, plugs and the injector. If i let the truck warm up for about 10 min the knock goes away. Can anyone help me?

you stated If i let the truck warm up for about 10 min the knock goes away.
Sure the exhaust is not leaking at the manifold and heads..Common problem.
As for the mis fire you should be throwing a code and you will be able to pin point what cylinder.

Yep, sounds like the back two manifold bolts are broken. The knocking would occur until engine temps come up enough to seal the leak.

This is a COMMON and MINOR issue that's fixed in about an hour with about $5 in parts. But if you want to buy a GM over a $5 issue that's obviously your right.

BTW, I'd suggest buying a NEW GM if you can afford it so you can run to the dealer for repairs under warranty. Used ones are gonna have issues to deal with to varying degrees depending on how the original owner took care of it, no matter what brand it is...

Ok i was alittle mad when i wrote this.. I do love my dodge but this problem is getting the best of me. I looked under the truck and did see that the bolts holding the heat shield were broke but that was it. It is cylender 6 misfire. Thats the code i get everytime.

We really need more info.

Did you buy this truck new? What maintenance has been done on it?

Plugs been changed? Coils checked? DTC codes or CEL light?

An exhaust leak at the manifold could easily cause a misfire as could a bad plug, wire, etc...

When you installed the new ignition stuff, did you lay the plug wires back in place in the exact same routing as they were OEM-------important! If not, a pic is available in the FSM, and you can get that from Weedahoe in his sig.
