Hemi plug preferences
The Little Woman has an '06 1500 Ram 4x4 with a Hemi in it. Any one out there more familiar with these engines than I am have the hot setup on brand of plug and heat range that will compliment... milage and occaisional towing at 5000 ft in Nevada.
Thanks, Mike

standard copper plugs. and standard heatrange.
Alot of guys run NGK, some are using Autolite's.
Stay away from Platinum or Iridium plugs.
Ohh, an you'll need 16plugs since there are 2 per cylinder.
They are due every 30kmi btw. You can get away with 40kmi if your all highway.

Yep, standard (cheap) coppers do fine. Have personally seen a Hemi run like total crap on a brand new set of Bosch Platinum plugs and then run like a top after helping the owner change out to Champion Coppers. Standard NGKs would also be a great choice...

Couldn't agree with this more. The guy at AAP tried to get me to buy iridiums and tried telling me they were the stock plug from the factory. Had i nor known better I would have believed him but I took my business to Autozone and they knew the stock plug was the copper Champion.

My 06 had 50,000 miles on the originals, and still looked good. I put autolite double platinums in when I changed and now have 106,000 miles with never a miss and still running perfectly. I drive mostly interstate
Ditto... I tried the Bosch Platinum, Irridium and with both my 03 1500 Hemi ran like S**t
Only when I put the Champion standard heat range coppers did it run like a CHAMP!
NO complants here, especially when you gotta buy 16 of those little suckers!
