Default Need shocks.... and opinions.....

I bought an 08 1500 4.7 and not sure if it is an ST SXT or SLT it does not say... I know it is recommend to change the shocks after 50,000 miles... (I have about 60k) and I would like to buy bilstein shocks... just not sure which ones... on a side note I am also putting a leveling kit on it... didn't know if that is going to be a factor in buying shocks... need opinions...

If it's a 2WD then I think you want the Bilstein 4600s. You can also look into cheaper brands such as Monroe, Rancho, and Pro Comp. Pro Comp and Rancho shocks are made by the same company so if you choose those I would find the cheapest of either and gt those, neither one is better than the other

Just my opinion, I put Monroe reflex on my 05 last spring, 9 months ago. Im taking them out and replacing with Ranchos (old reliable). I feel the Reflexs are undervalved for the weight of the truck.
