04 Dodge Hemi dies after hard pull
New member here, first post.
The problem I am having is the truck dies after a long hill pulling a trailer. As soon as I let off the gas after the pull, it dies. The truck has 107000 miles. It's been a great truck. Anybody ever experience this? or know how to fix it?

Welcome to the forum fellow Kentuckian.
I'm not sure of what info Izero was referring too. All I need to know is that you have an 04 1500 with a Hemi. It's in the title.
Anyway, I would start by cleaning the throttlebody. They get an oily, carbon buildup on the back side and it can cause the throttle blade to stick shut after acceleration when it closes off to idle down and doesn't reopen fast enough to keep it from stalling.
I cleaned mine awhile back. I wasn't having any issues, just a precautionary thing. I clean it every 30k miles when I change the plugs.

Didn't know new posters had to provide their birth certificates before being helped!
Agreed, a dirty throttle body can cause low idle condition after lugging something uphill. The butterfly has tight tolerances, and can easily get caught by carbon/oil residue. It's an easy job, takes maybe 1/2 hour. Try it first, then if necessary go from there.

Thanks for all the replies, I had the TB cleaned, new spark plugs, and a new egr valve installed. Also ran a bottle of injector cleaner in it. I don't know what else to do to it. I'm open for suggestions.
This is why I asked for some information, so we could skip the stuff he's already tried...
How much weight are you hauling?
Does the truck only do this when you are towing something, or does it happen unloaded too?
What Modifications do you have? (i.e. Cold Air Intake, Cat-Back Exhaust)
What rear end gear do you have? (i.e. 3.55, 3.92, 4.10, 4.54)
Is this a Ram 1500 or 2500?
Do you have any DTCs? (Check Engine Light?)
If so, what are the codes present?
What octane fuel do you use?
What Spark plugs did you put in? (i.e. Platinum, Copper, Iridium)
How long ago (miles or fuel fill-ups) did you use the injector cleaner?
