I got all codes cleared but,P2299. Check engine light even off by getting new ecm and had it flashed. My truck still won't idle and runs rough up till about 3000 rpm then it clears up running smooth. I got !@# off and tromped it. It took off like a scalded dog! Still won't idle? Any ideas? I checked all the valve train,springs ect. compression,wiring harness,coil packs,fuel injectors,cleaned TB everything I could think of and replaced the cam sensor. It is loading up with fuel when it's below 1500 rpm and the smell,shake and smoke tells it. Can the TB sensor cause this, I haven't changed it because it's part of the TB and it's around $200 bucks but with some good advice that it could fix my issue I will replace it!

 

I would try a MAP sensor first. It controls the air/fuel ratio but engine vacuum.
