Is the no key hole in the passenger door the end all be all for keyless entry?

Btw, it's not a particularly good idea to post ones VIN on the Web. In fact, many suggest one cover the VIN on the dash since a resourceful cracker can use it to eventually be able to make a dupe key. Obviously, the risk is higher for in demand "theft buckets."

My 99 has a lock on passenger side and has keyless also.

 

Your 99 is also a second gen truck, not third gen.

 

Could anyone tell me if my 1999 Dodge ram 1500 is keyless? I bought it from an individual who was not the first owner and he doesn't know.

 

According to google, there were keyless remotes (to lock & unlock the doors). Not sure sure about keyless...
