I have a question on this topic my self but im kinda stuck on which way would be a better way to go.

Option 1
Magnaflow Y to Cherry bomb Extreme SIDO

Option 2
Magnaflow Tru-X crossover to Cherry Bomb Extreme(x2) SISO / (x1) DIDO

Or all out
Option 3

JBA 1961S-1JT Headers High Flow cats to option 2

Option 3 would give me a better performance then 1 or 2, however I think with my CAI and option 1 or 2 would do about the same thing correct?

I drive almost 1000 miles to work and I dont care about drone just looking for help over the mountains and sound

have any of you ever tried stainless steel flowmasters? ive gone through 2 rustmasters that were aluminized steel. I need a new exhaust and I want stick with flowmaster cause I like the sound, but if the SS mufflers are just as bad then forget about it..any info would be great????

What is too loud for you may be to quiet for me or vice versa. Magnaflow has good performance exhaust equipment, and many sound levels. Many times deep and powerful only comes with loud attached. Flowmaster 50 series mufflers are quieter than most of their other mufflers. If you can give us a better definition of what you want, I'm sure we can get you closer to your needs

Of course it's opinionated. We all hear differently, therefore everyone has their favorites

I was looking for an instock Maganflow and my exhaust shop only had Flopro. Said they were the same as Magnaflow, just a "knock off". Well, I went with it and its been about 10mos so far. NO PROBLEMS!! Its loud enough to know something is different and noticeable when you get on it, BUT no drone and no obnoxiousness to it. Im very pleased with my choice. Ive got a sound clip of when I got it installed, but have since added some things so its a tad different now
