Smile Valve Springs

Hello Gents,

I'm a new member to the board, but I've been reading through a number of posts on here and it seems like a great community.

Anywho, I'm pretty sure my 04 Ram is suffering from a broken valve spring. I'm going to order the 6.1L springs, even if it's not the issue sounds like I need to do it for peace of mind.

My question is does anyone have of those custom valve spring compression tools they would like to part with? I know this isn't really the right place to post the question but I guess being a newb I don't have permissions to post in the classifieds section yet.

Thanks!

JC

Welcome to the site. If no one has one, you can order them from Jegs and Summit

Default Compressor

Thanks Weedahoe. I'd much rather pay the $75 for what will probably be a one time job than the $168 Jegs is looking for. Looking like I might not have a choice though, sent an email to the guy who used to make them and no reply.

Last time I looked it was around $125 but I understand what you mean. I have parts left over from several I was building before. Maybe I still have enough left over. I know they will need to be welded together but Iccan handle that.

No worries, I found the Crane Cams compressor on another site for around $125. If no one hits me up with one by the end of the day I'll just order it from that site.

Thx,
Josh
