Default wiring identification/purpose

Hi, newby to this forum. Recently bought a 2008 dodge ram 1500 quadcab. been getting to know my truck and learn as much as I can about it. have found a unused wire with a connector that I can't figure out what it is for. i'm sure it for an option that I don't have but still would like to know what it goes to. it's a take off from the same wire line as the ambient temperature sensor wire on the drivers side grill area. it's a white/yl wire with a black wire. What does it go to? Thanks, I know you guys know the answer.

Foglight connection. Do you have fogs?

looks like the fog light harness connection.... if you don't have fog lights that would explain why it's just hanging out there...

Upside is you'd only need to get a new headlight switch w/ the fog option, the fog harness and the fog light assemblies to put fog lights on...

That's likely b/c it's already connected to that connector which prolly gets tucked away down there somewhere... Next time I'm under my truck (which might be tomorrow for an oil change) I'll try to remember to take a look at where the fog light harness goes.
