O2 Sensor Codes, but not the sensors ???
Don't feel left out, I have a 2004 Ram 2500 with the 5.7 Hemi. Last week I had an O2 sensor replaced, code cleared and now I get a new code P0141 which indicates the O2 heater circuit. The garage replaced the O2 sensor and it does the same thing. I hate cars/trucks with computers...they may be smart but hard to fix. I am still tring to figure it out.
Hello Everyone,
I just changed my Sensor 1, Bank 1 O2 Sensor and fixed my rough idling problem. It WAS the brand of O2 sensor. My truck never idled and ran so smooth. My fuel mileage actually went up too. The garage put a Bosch in, I took it back, they put another Bosch in, and I took it back again, but not after doing a little research. I found out that Bosch and Ram do not like each other and put the suggested NGK/NGT #23135 O2 sensor in. IT WORKED!!!! Hope this helps

Fuel pump problems will show all kind of codes. Check pressure at the rail while running. Chrysler has problems with the regulators. I Did sensors ,high flow cats ,plugs. Ended up being fuel pressure going from 20-55 psi. Changed the pump and all is well. Even got 3mpg back.
It absolutely was the BRAND of O2 sensors ! I REALLY appreciate all the help and advice on this. I would have racked my brain for months trying to figure out the problem if it hadn't been for this blog.
For any Dodge RAM folks with similar O2 check engine trouble codes, DO NOT USE BOSCH sensors ! You'll save a lot of time, headaches, and money by simply going to a parts store that sells Borg-Warner, NTK/NGK, or Denso. I replaced my "new" Bosch (after problem got WORSE) with 2 new NTK sensors, and it runs like a Swiss watch, check engine light is out, codes are cleared, and the mileage has returned to normal as well.
Thanks again Hemi gurus !

But then you would have to explain why the Bosch sensors I have in mine work fine. Mileage is fine. No idle issues, Ect.
I guess what I'm trying to say is don't dismiss a possible working part but likewise I can't tell you why they don't work on yours. So many possibilities

I have a 2012 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi. When I first start it up it shows bank 1 sensor 1 voltage code. After I run it for a couple minutes I can cancel the code out and it stays out. But after I turn the engine off for a couple minutes and start it back up the code comes back again. I can hook up my code reader and put the ignition in the on position with the engine off and cancel the code then start the engine back up and the code does not come back unless I turn the engine off for a couple minutes and restart it. I am really confused with this one.
