Haven't had to use 'em, but any of the dent-remover companies should be able to pop that out fairly cheaply. I don't think they'll fix the paint, though.

It's about $200 easy to fix at a shop. Or $15 for a bucket of Bondo, and $70 for some color matched paint.

Thanks for all the replies.

I've not had to worry about getting dent work done out of pocket before. The only accident I've ever been in was when I got T-Boned in my 06 Charger, so insurance covered that of course. This however, not so much...

It didn't damage the crease of the panel, but not sure how hard it'd be to have someone bump it back out. If they could do that, I'm sure I could paint it fairly inexpensively.

I have tried cleaning the area, as you see, but there was actual paint tranfer from my vehicle to the other. I don't suppose $200 is really all that bad considering labor costs these days.

Looks like you can pop that out by hand then fine rubbing compound it till marks gone then wax over spot. I think you wont even notice it after

i have given up on having a truck in good shape. so i have some dings in my dak, and getting up set about it. till i did way more damage by my self. i got a rear bumper that is so bad it almost unsable, i did it my self. one time an insurance co would not pay up so i painted there name on the side of the car.
it was a 1959 ply wagon loaded. my dad and i put a chrysler 392 hemi in it. we called it the hemi wagon.

I feel your pain. I've tried everything in my power to try to have a truck with no digs or dents in it, but still use it like a truck. On my second windshield now, drivers side of the bed got dented when the wind caught the barn door and slammed it into my truck, now the clear coat is peeling off the side. Blew a rear tire on the same side and whatever I ran over flew up and put a dent in the rear quarter panel. hope yours is an easy fix.i've been quoted $500-$1000 to fix mine

That dent can probably be push out by removing the taillight, but it looks like you scraped down to metal in a couple of spots so some paint work is going to be require. An insurance repair would probably repaint the entire side of the bed. If you did not have paint damage you might get it pushed out and buffed for $200 but it will cost more than that to get paint work done.

With the price of paint these days, and the cost of disposal, there is no way you could get that fixed by a reputable body shop for $200. The whole side of the bed will need to be painted. Or at least the spot blended with color, then the whole side clearcoated. With the body work, Paint, and wetsand/buff, I'd bet at least double that. I would go with the ding removal guys. I've had work done to my old truck when an icicle fell on my hood. You could barely tell it ever happened. And that was a HOOD!! Where yours is at you would never notice. The good places will even touch up the scratches. But still plan on spending a couple hundred.
