Heater does not blow onto floor

Default Heater does not blow onto floor

2008 ram 1500 heater/ac does not blow onto the floor. is there a simple fix?

simple fix... no not really... mine does this too from time to time... and it's an issue with a broken door in the vent system...

go to www.heatertreater.net and input your problems into their website and they will likely have a kit you can buy to correct it... but you'll likely have to take nearly the entire dashboard out to replace one or two little doors.

it's not that it's "complicated" it's just very involved....

That's correct. The blend doors maybe broken as Izero had said. That job isn't that bad to do, But you need the correct tools to drain the A/C system and another pair of hands to help with the dash removal.

I'm not talking about the Blend doors... I'm talking about the Mode Door... specifically the MODE 2 door is what I'm betting is the problem.

and I'm pretty sure that you can do the fix without bleeding the AC lines...

None of the charge lines should ever come through the firewall... they should all be contained forward of the firewall under the hood.

Is there someplace I can go to walk me thru fixing the Mode 2 door, details or whatever?

I recently heard something break in mine. Haven't messed with it yet. But I found if you go to the heater Treater website they have videos of what to remove etc and what to look for and location of all the different doors.
