high beams with low beams
Hello what wire under the console can I splice to make my 03 highbeams stay on with lows? Now to be clear I have projector lights with 2 bulbs so heat wont be a issue and the low beams are HIDS on a relay harness and highbeams are LEDS so there will be no strain on the factory wireing It is a 03 by the way
Oh yes it will, I melted the plastic headlight housing in front of the projector for running too much HID. I would recommend adding fog lights or putting in 55w HID's there to combat the lack of light your projectors are putting out
Only the low beams are HIDS the high beams Are LEDs and produce no heat at all
Problem is if you just short wires together they will both be on all the time your headlights are on.
You néed to do it with relays or better yet a pre-programmed relay like a Brite Box.

Yes, this will allow you to keep highs, lows and fogs on at the same time. If you had an 06 or newer you can change a setting within the computer to do it. I just did this to my Charger not too long ago.
