Default 07... 1500...5.7 hemi....4x4 Transmission

Have been having issues with my trans for at least 25,000 miles.....Filter'S and fluids changed at dealership on time....Shifting is spot on when engine is cold....but is sluggish when engine gets up to temp....No codes...no lights on dash...nothing....just doesn't seem right.....dealership says nothing is wrong....Along with all this...the trans is making a whinning noise....NOT super loud....but it is noticeable....Changed PS pump thinking it might be getting bad and whinning a little .....that wasn't it...Its the trans......This thing hasn't gotten worse but it still think its going to ..."just fail" outta the blue....With all this said...I just turned 51,000 miles.....shouldn't be like this but dodge and the dealer insist nothing is wrong......Trans shop seem to think its the pump or the convertor that I'm hearing.....either way it suck....Don't want to just have the trans rebuilt if its going to happen again...am thinking about a REMAN'd trans...and was wondering if anyone has bought a REMAN"d trans...from an aftermarket place...Have read about a few places that offer REMAN...not rebuilt Trans's...Anyone have any thoughts on the situation and or aftermarket company's that offer reman'd Trans's...Am looking at EETE Transmissions...price is good...warranty is good and it is a reman trans.....not rebuilt...Anyone got any good information they can share on which route to go with this trans before it fails.....Thanks

I have had it to both Dodge dealer is my area....keep saying the same thing..Its not showing any codes or any dash lights...and of coarse..it doesn't act up when they drive it....But do agree there is a little noise but unsure of what it is....there not so sure its the trans...and I'm not going to just let them start pulling stuff and replacing without a good idea of whats going on or what the problem actually is...

Rear diff? Will whine, maybe transmitting sounds up the drive shaft. Front wheel bearings? Sluggish, has it had a tune up?

Can you duplicate the issue when you want? If you can, get the truck to the point where it is acting up, and take one of the service folks for a test drive. SHOW them the problem.

As I said..it only acts up when it cold...cold engine and fluids.....Before I get to the dealer 10 miles away...its good and warm and wont do it...Guess I need to leave at dealership and let them drive 1st thing in the morning.......

Nobody have any dealings with a reman trans for this truck or any other problems with this trans...From what I can read its supposed to be a good trans with little problems...and only driving it back and forth to work...3-4 miles ....it shouldnt have problems like this...in my opinion.....

Could modules cause this kind of problems...and just not be showing a code yet.....

Ok in your OP you said its ok when cold and acts up hot? The 5rfe is a good trans. Its possible the pump is the issue. The dealer should be able to use star scan tool to read line pressures. That will give you a better idea, of what's going on inside the transmission.
