Default cheap upgrades

I am interested in doing a few mods for my girlfriends truck, electric fan, already have the fan, possibly a small lift, I think it needs shocks anyway, running 34"s now, need water pump, not sure which brand to get, want metal impeller, maybe some better air intake, not a hot air gathering "cold air intake" lol, already have a K&n high flow filter in stock breather. Would like a better sound, possibly resonator removal or straight through pipe? Not to worried about funny sound, but don't want it real loud. Front bumper and fog lights need replaced.

I have a Magnaflow cat back which flows really well and is all stainless.. Sounds good too.
I also use a AirAid MIT pipe with the stock airbox and K&N drop in filter in the airbox.
Not sure what's out there if you are talking about the 02 2500 in your info.

Here's some exhaust noises for you. Plus one on the the AirAid pipe, I have it coupled to a Volant box.

Buy a Mopar water pump! If you can afford it up front, it will serve you better than the $50 replacements. I had to replace steering rack and PS pump, went cheap, and needed to replace them again within a year. I replaced with actual Mopar and they are serving me well still.
I just bought a Mopar WP from ShopHemi as they had the cheapest price of $197

Right now I cant afford the Mopar brand, but I hear good things about gates, and I hear that gates make many factory parts, like mopar with their name on it, it's so hard to tell these days who really makes what and where its made and if that manufacturer is in a reliable factory keeping good specs or even metal alloy quality. It's not quite so simple as the cast iron days, lol

I had to sell that 2500, I miss it so much, my girlfriend just could not catch on to the 5 spd. The 5.9 was sorta wimpy but that truck could go good in mud or snow or even some steep grassy muddy hills. It had the Nitto Terra Grapplers, like I bought for this new truck. I like these tires, great on road , good enough offroad, not bad on price. For this hemi truck I put a kn filter in it, don't like the tight squeeze right at the end of the intake tube to the manifold. Also what are the chances I am wrong about water pump being bad?

The truck has mysteriously lost water for quite some time, finally I found a trickle around T stat, changed it, the old one was in pieces and o ring gasket not so good. Put the best stant in. Truck continued to lose water but sometimes, not always. Finally I spotted wetness around water pump gasket, and then a small trickle possibly from the bushing. not sure. Now today I have a constant leak, very slow, cant tell for sure, it is running to the back of the engine but it still appears it comes from around the gasket not for sure out of the bushing. I wish I could delete that clutch fan also, I have a few electric fans, just need some sort of temp sensor and relay. On the lift , I cant hardly stand 1/2 ton suspension even the TRX-4 suspension. I think it needs new shocks and I would like a little more lift , any 2' lift kits at good prices?

Found a brand named GMB on carparts.com , has a metal impeller and one hell of a sales pitch, sounds like its pretty good, as I believe when I remove my waterpump the impeller will be almost nothing left of it, lol. I have noticed water not flowing well at all. no way to find out if its really a Chinese knock off or a quality part and that goes for even the Mopar brand. Napa carries gates but they have a plastic impeller

Mufflers are overrated on a hemi, they sound amazing no matter what but you can't beat a hemi without a muffler for power and sound, Hemi engines don't need back pressure, proven to be BS on a dyno. With the stock Y pipe and cats and no muffler its actually pretty reasonable for volume in general cruising until you hammer on it then it opens up with Gods wrath.

Check craigslist daily for deals on Superchips or Diablo Sport tuners, they can be had used for $100-$150. Also keep an eye out for headers, I got coated JBA mids for $160. Also found a K&N setup for $20 for my brother, my truck came with a K&N from my friend, but they can be had cheap for around $50-$80. You'll kick some serious butt with these mods. How does 0-60 in 6.2 seconds sound?

All engines benefit from a certain amount of back pressure. I thought I was doing great for the few years I ran with Long tubes, no cats, and one pipe out each side. When I finally put a muffler on each pipe, there was a huge increase in low end pick up and power, as well as my mileage went up as well.
