When did it become your responsibility to 'call out' people for bad manners? This IS the internet by the way..... and 'manners' seem to fall by the wayside for a fair few folks out here in the ether. You being one of them. Bring up dead threads is considered 'bad form', and I call out folks on it EVERY time I see it. I also call out folks for unnecessary comments in any thread. Considering the guy you are 'calling out' hasn't even been here for a couple years, it is wasted effort, that also wastes MY time and effort. Just don't do it.

So, let’s get this straight…your claim…”Bring up dead threads is considered 'bad form', and I call out folks on it EVERY time I see it. I also call out folks for unnecessary comments in any thread. “
You responded to this thread after 2 years. That, in your own words, is ‘bad form’ and in turn makes you full of crap!
You were responding to a comment on the same date as 66three83 and YOU did not call him out. That would make you a hypocrite and in turn full of crap!
It IS my responsibility to call people out when the forum administrators are hypocrites and selective. I pointed out that someone was making rude and unnecessary comments to a newbie. I couldn’t care less if that individual hasn’t been on the forum for years. The comment was bs and needed to be called out. Maybe the next newbie that is looking for help will read the post and realize that there are helpful people out here that are willing to stand up to arrogant ******. I would hope that a super important “Administrator” such as yourself would understand that. Or did you forget the “birds eye view” point of “"How to win friends, and influence people!”
If you refer back to my comments made to 66three83, you’d realize that I was telling hom to do EXACTLY what you tried to tell me. My comment…. “Keep your pie hole shut unless you have something constructive to say.” Your comment…”just don’t do it”. Maybe comment may have been a bit cruder in an attempt to match the intellect of the author, but still synonyms.
Attempting to put someone down by referring to an 85 year old Dale Carnegie self help book highlights how little you’ve actually learned from him.
This has been a textbook example of how truly out of touch someone can get when they hide behind “computer muscles” of which you are massive! Too bad about your real life manhood.

Ok, here's the scoop, I posted in this thread because YOU did, and wished to communicate to YOU that you shouldn't bring up dead threads. Why is that so hard for you to grasp? That previous post was directing the member to the correct forum. You'll note he didn't come back to this thread again.
But, I don't need to explain myself to you. So, let me put it to you succinctly. Don't resurrect dead threads. Just don't do it. And lose the attitude. Any more of that particular crap, and I will simply ban you, and call it a day. These forums are generally a fairly quiet, and helpful place, you are NOT contributing to that.
