I have an 05 laramie Hemi. What intake would be the best for my truck? Also. I want a "bug reflector" but don't know if I should go with the smoke one or the chrome. I have the 20' in wheels but not a chromed out grill. Thanks.

 

I would say either the Airaid, Mopar, or K&N intakes. They are all pretty much the same. As far as the bug deflector, depends on the color of your truck

 

My truck is metallic grey. As far as the intake goes is there anything specfic I should ask for when getting one and is there anyone on the web that has good deals? Thanks.

I have a K&N on my truck and have no complaints. I also have a factory bug deflector and I think it is a nice peice. It is slim and practically unnoticeable.

 

I have a fatory on one mine, it is an '03 though.

 

The KNN intake they sell at advanced or auto zone is the knn you have? I just want to make sure I get the right one.

You should be able to get the Mopar deflector at a dealership. Mine's same style and color as DRams and I like it. Nice looking without being obtrusive. I've got the color matched grill and bumper and it all goes together pretty nice.

 

Go to the dealer and buy your bug shield...As for the intake, the factory intake on the Hemi's is a well designed intake, all i would do it drop in a K&N airfilter and be done with it....
