Dodge Ram 2003 4.7
I’m having an issue with pinion flange now
its tightened but it jiggles side to side with play could it be the bearing ? Another issue I was tightening and the gears got messed up inside differential

Any side to side movement is bad. Need to find out why.

I barely getting. In the auto mechanic industry I really don’t know .. I was trying to install the flange which came off with the drive shaft ..cuz my drive shaft fell off and now I’m stuck

Getting it wrong can be expensive......... If you know someone that has done it before, draft them. If you can't get anyone, READ A LOT before you turn a wrench. Differentials are REALLY picky, and neglecting one step will trash the whole thing in pretty short order.
