Wow thanks guys you are awesome I will see if they have the leak down kit here to rent and I do have a compressor,is this a zero clearance engine? Would my valves be bent if the chain jumped

I suspect that if the valves were all the way open, and the piston came up to say hello, carnage would ensue...... Not a real common occurrence though. I would more expect dropped valve seats, or something similar.

So I finished the compression test and only #3 and #5 had 50psi the rest are at 0 oh crap

I agree with Heyyou.
How did it sound turning over with all the plugs in trying to start it? Did it sound like it was turning over abnormally fast? If so this would also indicate poor compression. If this is the case its time to take the front of the engine off and check the timing chain and gear alignment marks.

The gauge is good tested a few times on each cylinder,no it didn’t sound like it was turning over fast it sounds like it wants to start every 4th time the motor turns over

Rent a bore scope, and peek inside some of the dead cylinders. See if anything obvious presents itself.

Did the engine ever overheat??
