The cables do tend to stretch over time......

I was wrong. There is no cable to the throttle body. Just wires. Where do I go from here?

Ah, then I would suspect maybe a failing pedal position sensor. It would be interesting to plug in with a good scan tool, and see what the pcm sees as you press the go-pedal down.

Thanks for the help. Accerlator cable is shot. Not adjustable. Gonna have to replace.
