Default Transmission oil cooler Line Replacement.

Hey Guys,
I contacted you guys several weeks ago concerning the "Transmission oil cooler line" identification. You guys were very helpful and I was able to obtain the lines, both upper and lower.....Thanks so much...

The reason for this thread concerns the lines, and the install of them.

Has anyone done this before? I mean, trying to get the new ones on without breaking them because of all the bends they have is a real pain. Is it any easier on a lift?

Any and all feedback is truly appreciated.

When they install them at the factory, they have a bare frame they set the engine/trans/etc onto. You don't have that luxury. Basically, you have to snake them around the various things in the way, to get them in. Being on a lift will give you MUCH more wiggle room under the truck....

Wow, I didn't know that....I thought they did this stuff after the fact. No wonder I'm having so many issues....

I tried snaking it around, but I am still encountering issues.....and unfortunately I don't have a lift to use, so I am on the ground......

I wished they make a more flexible line.

Technically you can make them more flexible but you probably don't have the tools to do it.

You could crimp on robber hose to it but you need a special crimper
