Default Fuel supply issue

2005 Ram 1500 4X4 5.7 Hemi

Truck cranks but won't start.

Swapped the fuel pump relay. Nothing.

Checked fuel pump fuse. It's good.

Sprayed starting fluid in the throttle body and truck started and ran for a minute.

Pulled fuel rails and injectors are not spraying fuel.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

What? That folks here have a sense of humor? That's one of the things I like best about this place.

Was referring to the OP’s question! A lot of threads about obvious bad fuel pumps lately, but that one takes the cake!

Problems seem to come in clusters. You won't see a fuel pump problem for a couple months, then, there will be six threads about them in one day. Goes about the same for every other problem under the sun as well.

I'm assuming this person never worked on a vehicle, at least I hope so. Or he/she is hoping it isn't the pump

I would be hoping it wasn't the pump.... Those are a drag.
