Default Need some help

I have a 2004 Ram 1500 5.7 4x4. I have a vibration when applying the brakes. I Replaced all pads, rotors, and calipers on the front and rear in July 2018. Everything was smooth until about a month ago (March 2019). But now when my brakes are applied at anything over 50 mph I get a wicked vibration. If I am going slow like 35 mph then I can ease on the break and avoid the vibration.

It feels like it was coming form the back. I was thinking warped rear rotors. Took it to a mechanic shop, they said the same thing. So I replaced the rotors with brand new ones, but it didn't change anything. Same exact vibration/wobble, same intensity. To me it feels like it is coming from the rear. The steering wheel does not vibrator or wobble when I apply the brakes. I kind of feel it from the back.

Any ideas on what could cause this?

Jack up the rear, and shake/move/wiggle everything you can get your hands on in the rear driveline. Might be a bearing somewhere, might be a U-joint, might be as simple as loose lug nuts.

I agree , get it up on a lift or stands and check drive-train, U-joints ect , look at pinion on rear end for excessive play ,, and pull in an out up an down on everything like rear axles

Did you replace the E-brakes as well?

The e brakes were not replaced. I'll have to lift it up and check everything out. I'll give an update.

Did you even read his posts? He clearly stated it was coming from the rear.

Also while it’s up, start it and put it in drive to examine the tires. I once had a tire that had a small bulge that was not evident until I could see it rotating at speed. That vibration would only occur on acceleration and braking. Replaced the tire, problem solved. But it was a head scratcher for quite a while!!

Just because he thinks it's coming from the rear does not mean it is (especially if he is coming to a forum for help). No need to be a dick about it.
