Question 2002 ram 1500 brakes

Brake issue-
I have 125k miles on ram 2002 1500 (4wd - 5.9L V8). Installed new front calipers, rotors & pads. bleed the brakes starting from the farthest away from the master cylinder (twice). Brake pedal is soft & goes all the way to the floor. Changed out the master cylinder (with new one) and bleed brakes twice. Pedal still is soft and goes to the floor. Any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks very much,

Are you losing any fluid? Pulled the drums, and had a look? My wheel cylinders were leaking pretty bad, but, there was no evidence of it outside the drums....

This occurs sometimes, people reverse the calipers and the bleed valve is not at the top. That means you don't get all the air out of the system. Check that first.

Correct caliper on the correct side? I've cleared a lot of problems where the guy working on it removed both calipers at once and swapped them by mistake. The bleeder will be on the top if it's on the right side.

Did you bench bleed the new master cylinder?

This is what it sounds like , because if the bleeder is on the lower side then air gets trapped at the top,,its very easy to not pay attention an get the drivers side swapped with the passenger side and no amount of bleeding will resolve the issue

Smile Soft brakes

Hi Guys,
Problem fixed, I had the front calipers reversed. Switched them to the correct side & the brakes work great!

thanks for all of the tips!

Down the road you'll get a reputation as being really good at mechanics by remembering that. I've seen guys with years of experience do that and it is REALLY easy to do. I'll mark the boxes when I buy them to keep track of which side something like calipers, tie rod ends and so on go onto.
