Default Getting No Fire won't start will crank but won't start.getting 5 codes

Good morning my fellow Dodge brothers and sisters. Ok I got an 04 1500 4x4 with the Hemi 5.7 L of coarse
Little history to get you up to speed. A couple months ago I parked my truck went out the next morning and it wouldn't start. I'd never had an issue before with it not starting. Didn't have time to investigate right then, but did that night. I checked my plugs and wires and I was getting spark , getting fuel to the fuel rails, fuel pump seems to be kicking on.
So this made me scratch my head. My old man always said no start no fire. So that was where I started at the plugs.
Now fast forward to about 2 weeks ago. I finally ran a code tester on it and these are what they gave me back.as follows
PO403, PO406, PO113, PO0340, PO108
Went to Azone and got a print out of what they were and nothing on there made me say that it was this that is causing it.
Now it will crank no issue there but it won't fire at all . I mean nothing not even a cough of smoke. I've checked all related fuses/relays and all seem to be working and none were blown. I was thinking it could be the MAP sensor, but wasn't sure where it was located haven't looked it up. I did disconnect and remove the Max Air Flow nothing. I took the EGR housing thing that sits on the front of the block under the alternator off cleaned it no change.
Hell I even hit the throttle body with some ether and it still wouldn't start I got it to at least cough tho.
So my fellow Dodge lovers I could use any knowledge and wisdom I know that is here in this matter. Oh just a foot note before this happen I'd ran my truck out of gas about 4 times. If that has anything to do with your answers ...
Thank you for your time and help
I'll be watching the thread in anticipation, I haven't been able to drive my truck in about 6 months and I'm ready too.
FLIPMAN.

If it fires with ether, then you have a fueling problem.

P0340 is for camshaft position sensor. The PCM uses that sensor to determine which injector to fire. If it doesn't get signal from the sensor, it doesn't know which one to fire, so, it doesn't fire any of them.

Thanks for the reply. No it really dont start with ether it tried but all I got was a choked cough after the starter probably spun 5 times. I was just reading about the crank sensor when I send your reply
What do you think about the MAP sensor should I check
It? And where is the MAP Sensor and the crank sensor located

No clue where the sensors are. More familiar with the older engines.

At least with the ether, it does more than without it. Still and all, no injector pulse, means it isn't gonna run. You could pick up a noid light (beg/borrow/rent/buy) from your local parts store, and test if you are getting injector pulse. (it's just a little test light, unplug an injector, one that's easy to get to, plug the noid light into the connector, crank the engine. See if the light flashes.)

Default Hey You

I put a test light on the injectors and it lite up on everyone of them so it's getting some kind of electric to it. But I didn't use a noid tester. I hear u on the older trucks . When I was in Texas I had an 82 d100 with the slant 6 in it completely restored it and it was easier to work on. I had an actual shop manual for just that truck I wish I could get one one for just my 04 but all I always see is from one year to the next and it has like 10 years listed. I'll goggle the sensors and see where they are.

I think Bishko is the publisher for the factory service manuals. They will be year specific. Should be able to find 'em on EBay, for a reasonable price. Usually those are PDF downloads though.... not a real paper manual. (those are expensive..)

Need to put your test light across the injector terminal connectors. One side will have power, the other side is the ground circuit, controlled by the ECM.

Default Hey you

Yeah that is how I tested the injectors. Stabbed one side and grounded the other . I found a manual on line for free so I'm trying to locate the sensors. What do you think about the MAP Sensor

Cool

Sounds like you may have an intermittent loss of spark control? Check for power at the cam sensor and let me know what you find!

I checked my spark plugs with a spark plug tester . And I noticed there were 4 that were kind of weak so I changed those. Im not sure how to test the camshaft sensor. How do I do that? I located the crankshaft sensor and removed it was just fixing to go get a new one.

hello, i have the same code P0340 on my 01 Dodge Stratus, it means there is a problema with the Cam Sensor Circuit, talking with some mechanics the conclution was it could even be the Crankshaft Position Sensor, grounding problem or something like that, i swapped both sensor and the problem continued, i noticed when you unplug the Camshaft Position Sensor the car starts after cranking a couple of seconds and runs normal, so next thing im gonna do is check the timing (aligning cam gears and cranckshaft) to see if it is the problem
