Default Valve cover bolts!!!

So I have an 04 dodge ram 1500 with a 4.7. I have a lot of bolts that are rusted and stripped out. I had to take the valve covers off to replace both heads. Can anyone tell if I can use just regular bolts instead of buying new valve covers?

As long as you get same thread size an length then you can use a bolt from the hardware store , I would recommend a grade 8 bolt or close to that for replacement

Grade 8 for a valve cover? That seems like overkill to me.....

3 will do as well. Not like they are torqued really tight. And why spend money where you don't need to? If you want expensive bolts, go for stainless steel.
