P0205 Code replaced injector no help
I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 5.7. Driving home it started running very rough and died at stops. It would restart but only if I gave it gas. Check engien light finally came on with a P0205. Changed the number 5 injector, but no help. Checked compression in number 5 and had about 120. Checked the wires and tested with a light and it is getting a pulse at injector connector. Any ideas?
Take a look at the connector, sometimes they don't make good contact with the pins on the injector, and you get poor performance. Aside from that, it seems that everything is working as it should..... except.... it isn't. Check resistance on the injector. Maybe a bad part right out of the box?

How old, and what kind of spark plugs? Done anything to the truck lately? Is this something that kinda crept up slowly, and got progressively worse, or, did it just start running like crap one day.
Changed plugs about a year ago. Replaced EGR about a month ago. All was running fine until this happened.

Not sure the problem is with the injector. No longer getting a check engine code of any kind. Can only get it to start by pumping the gas and can only keep it running by giving it gas and holding it at 2000 or more RPMs.
