What happens if you try to tune an already tuned vehicle?
I have a FlashPaq 3865 I'm trying to use on my 2005 2500, but it tells me that the vehicle calibration isn't on file, Well I contacted superchips and I'm told sorry it can't be updated any further and that vehicle must have newer calibration files?!
So I'm wondering if this is because the computer has already been tuned by the previous owner as it has 34" tires on it.
Anyone experience this? I've been dying to use this tuner on a 2005 because I've read repeatedly that the 2005 has the most options available for like TQ management and transmission tuning, only to find that I can't even use this tuner?!?!?!!

Apparently not, I'm told that it's updated as much as it can be.
I'm honestly pissed man, this stuff happens to me all the time, everything works for everyone else, but when it comes to me "oh sorry you're out of luck"
Everywhere on the net says that it will upload the file then within a week they'll have a calibration file for me.
Superchips tech support is telling me a different answer and basically saying "sorry your tuner is useless on this truck"
My tuner shows the stock tire size setting at 30.75 inches, which I THINK may have been changed from actual stock?
So I'm wondering if someones tuned this truck before and left the tune installed.
Dealer says $129 to reflash my computer back to stock, but who knows, I bet if I try to actually have it done they'll tell me "sorry we can't do that".... I'd put money on it.
even then there's no guarantee that will work

I asked about it and he explains that basically the truck has an newer calibration file and there's nothing that can be done....kind of rudely imo....so I ask about why the manual and stuff says that if this happens, to update it and within a week the engineers will have a calibration file for you, to which he tells me it's discontinued and there's nothing that can be done.
So I'm like I don't understand why my truck would have a newer file than a 2009 programmer, and he just cops an attitude and says "well I've already told you exactly why" so I ask if this is a problem that could be caused by someone tuning the truck before me and leaving the tune in and he says "that's not why this problem happens"
seriously? **** superchips, I'll never buy another one of their products again.
So I can go to the dealer and maybe have my computer reflashed to stock for $129, but there is literally no guarantee that it will let the tuner work and I could just be throwing away $129.
the tuner says my stock tire size is 30.74, but my truck has 34.4" tires on it.
What is the actual stock size on a 2005 ram 2500 4x4?
At this point I'm just trying to find out if the Diablo Trinity 2 Platinum offers trans tuning options and torque management for a 2005 2500 Hemi.
If they do, I'm pulling the trigger.
I just got off the phone with superchips, and the fkn attitude was outstanding.

It'll have the as delivered tire size listed. You'll need to talk to a CMR tuner to see if Diablo can do tranny magic on yours.
