Yeah, digital is the way to go, if you can find 'em. I think Bishko is the publisher, might check their site...... Does alldata charge? I *think* they are at least reasonably accurate and thorough...... but, I've never paid for a subscription there..... Haynes and Chiltons are far to generic for todays cars.....

Can you explain what (Refer to 21 - TRANSMISSIONI TRANSAXLE/AUTOMATIC - 45RFE/545RFE - STANDARD PROCEDURE) means and what I need to do? Cant find it in the 10k pages manual...

Did find the wiring diagram and will doublecheck it on saturday.

but i still believe there is sth in the PCM or ECU

One of the Switches does not give the correct position i think. although the test passes?

Should be a test procedure for the pn switch. In the transmission section, check the index, should talk about it in there somewhere, but, they tend to call them odd things.....

So finally I had a look into the 2006 and and 2008 Manuals - both don’t apply to m vehicle, 2006 has got a starter relay, 2008 completely different plugs.

what I have done:
connected ground to between starter and battery - disabled the starte solenoid plug - bridges the positive and starter solenoid while cranking - engine fires right up. While driving, lots of error codes are flashing, tranny shifts badly.

so the issue might be in the ground of trans harness.

can anyone send me a wiring diagrams and the few pages fr the 07 servicemanual?
chapter 9 - engine - no crank situation

cheers

I really couldn't tell you what the problem was. I went and unhooked all the electrical connections under the truck and checked them and they were fine. Next, i pulled all the electircal connections on the steering shaft at the steering wheel and ignition switch and then it started working. Been working since I did that. Blows my mind
