Default Intermittent crank no start - then cranks and starts on second attempt. 3rd Gen 5.7

Intermittent crank no start. With random unsafe complete engine shut off with a fast clicking upon
starting retry in middle of intersection.

Replaced burnt looking Starter Solenoid Relay.

Had a car alarm removed.

Showed a PO 335 Code Crank position sensor
Replaced at dealership .

None of above has resolved issue of Intermittent crank no start. With random unsafe complete engine shut off with a fast clicking upon starting retry in middle of interseintersection
So all that said what is the diagnosis sequence ?
Codes ?
Pull started have it tested ?
Positive and negative cables tested ?
Relays are new.
 then onto the fuel system.
fuel pressureFuel. Filter
And pump .
And anything else I'm missing .

Check all your connections for power and ground.

Absolutely. I'm leaning towards a starting starter issue. Because it's random. And when the doesCompletely die it does NOT stutter sputter as if a fuel delivery issue. Engine shuts down LIKE RITE NOW.
Ive wiggled wire connections at the terminals on the starter awhile ago all seemed tight. So that's when I wentFor the burnt relays at the fuse box/TIPM. So today I'm gonna pull my starter have it tested. Scan for codes at OrieleysAnd replace fuel pump fuse and relays. Bang on fuel tank listen for the pump inside to activate.
i guess I'll trading foot rub for ignition assistance today.

I don't think its the starter.... Once the engine is running, that shouldn't have anything to do with it. More likely its losing power somewhere. Trouble is, there are a whole host of places that can happen, and give you the symptoms you have. The trick would be, see what's missing when it won't start..... Fuel, or spark.

You know what it was ? Mr . Admin? Grab Captain I'm sure everyone's gonna laugh at me but that's okay hopefully someone
will learn. Battery steered a bit low okay onto the alt. Tested with some low numbers as well. Hmmm okay new ALT .Installed.
No big . Go back for some final testing. Thinking all's good. Hmmm nope. Hit the key same problem Crank No Start.
Oh wait where is your Battery Anchor ? Hmmm what's up under your Red Positive Cover ? Oh terminal is mostly tightBut not without a doubt tight. So you are absolutely correct Mr. Admin NOT a starter issue. A loose battery term.
Due a missing battery anchor. Great salesman at Orieleys. Anybody got some bailing wire and duct tape ?
I'm over here in shame alley. I'm feeling lucky that it's just an overlooked basics. Lesson for today. Don't Over Think It.
I'll poopst with an update in a few days or a week.
Be well.
Yours Pelican Splat.

Your HTML isn't working. Makes it fun to read.......

Long crank is usually fuel pressure, or, fouled plugs..... or weak spark.....
