Default INSTRUMENT CLUSTER SWAP, KPH too MPH ?

Hoping all you knowledgable folks out there can help me here. Just purchased a 2004 Dodge Ram, 5.7 hemi, 4x4 Laramie. It was a Canadian truck originally, but has spent the last ten years in Japan. Its now a keeper, over here in Scotland, UK. Instrument Cluster is in KPH. I have the chance of a replacement cluster from a 2005 hemi, which is in MPH which is more suited over here.
Question is; Is it a simple swap, plug and play ? Or does it require any re-programming or a re-flash ? Mileage change isn`t a problem as i can get that digitally reset. Just need to know if its a simple swap over ? Image of my dash for reference.
Many thanks, Alan..

Wow. That is one well-traveled truck.

As part of the UK, aren't you folks using KPH there as well?????

Learn somethin' new every day......

I *think* the speedometers scale the same way, regardless of what the local measurement units are. So, theoretically, it should be a direct swap. Don't know if it has to be programmed for the VIN, or anything along those lines.

I think that it does need to be reprogrammed.

Re-programmed to actually work, or just for the mileage ?

As long as it's from a gas engine and same bus family (in this case, 2002-2005) yes, but there may be a few electronic hiccups depending on option/build differences between your truck and the donor. The biggest hurdle is usually the mileage and if you have that covered you should be good.

Mainly for the mileage. Sometimes people run into electrical gremlins when replacing them, but it's not all that common.
