3rd gen 4.7 small ticking

If you want to determine the source of the noise you can try using either a mechanic's stethoscope, or a 2 ft length of garden hose.
The stethoscopes are inexpensive, but if you use the hose; put one end against you ear and move the other around the suspect areas. You'll know when you are on top of the ticking rocker or the exhaust leak.
I've also heard of laying tissue paper over the exhaust manifold/cylinder head joint and see if air moves the paper.

it’s been a while now but i was looking and there is one bolt of my exhaust manifold could this been a problem?
