I have also done that and it says to return the truck to stock, which I did, then it will read the ecu of the other truck which it doesnt. It never successfully does anything right. It says it went back to stock or changed some stuff but it never does cuz if I unplug it after changing stuff it just automatically reverts back to the same thing.

 

That sounds like an issue with the tuner...... Convincing the folks you got it from of that is going to be the fun part....

 

So just now I just formatted the sd card in the tuner and updated it with the updater program and went out to try again and this time It got past the first file read which it never did before and it also says file is not stock instead of the normal "reading from ecu fail" so I believe this is progress? Not sure if it's in the direction I want but I will keep playing with it. It's got me a little motivated since its actually something different this time. What is your thought on it nowm

 

Can you just write the stock tune to it? Or does it want to see what's there first?

 

I dont know how to do that but I'm gonna call superchips in the morning to see what I gotta do next
