2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. Service 4x4 dash light.

My Dodge Ram 2500 has a warning light for service 4x4. Replaced the unit that changes the position for 2 wheel to 4 wheel. After changing it, the dash light went out. But while driving it two weeks ago, the warning light came back on for no reason. Took my truck to a local garage and they said it might be a computer issue. Any thoughts out in the truck world on what might be going on.
It only has 126,00 miles on it and it's in great shape

It should set a code. Knowing what the code is would be really helpful.

Look under the dash at the park brake ratchet. See if any wires are rubbing on the ratchet assy.

I will try and find a different scanner.
