Siphon gas

Do you have an air compressor? Get 7 or 8 feet of fuel line hose and feed it into the gas filler neck. You'll have to wiggle it to get around the bends. When it bottoms out, wrap paper towels around the hose. Stick an air gun into the tank past the towels and use it to pressurize the tank. Have several fuel cans ready because once it starts siphoning, you just leave it running. It's pretty obvious what you're doing so you do it in daylight.
If you're trying to steal gas, suck on the hose until you get a mouth full of gas.

If you slice the end of the hose at a bit of an angle, you can just blow air (from your compressor....) past the end of the hose, and it will start a siphon. Getting the hose into the tank is the fun part. Newer gas tanks have a ball valve in the filler neck, that closes it off in the event of a rollover. Makes it impossible to get the hose past it.

My days of stealing gas are long gone -just to darm old to mess with stuff like that. However yes I do have an air compressor and thanks for the info. But a question - the truck is an 2005 and I'm sure it has a valve that closes in the event of a roll over. Would this prevent me from siphoning the gas? (the reason I need to get the gas out of the tank is that the gas is over a year old)

The siphoning comment was for others who read the messages and are less principled. As for old fuel, like HeyYou said, if the level is low, fill it with fresh. I prefer to go with straight gasoline (E0) and just run it out. We have a few ethanol free pumps around here, but it IS a bit pricey.
