I am in need of some help on my right front intermediate shaft. I can find absolutely nothing, anywhere that I have looked. I need someone who has actually taken the intermediate shaft and seal out to tell/show me how it goes back together.
Dodge sold me a bushing #52111167 and a seal. Here is a picture of the shaft riding on the bottom of the housing. 2002 SLT 4.7 4X4 automatic, right front intermediate shaft.
It looks like the inner diameter is stepped twice in there? If the smaller one is deep enough, I would be tempted to measure it inner diameter, and the diameter of the axle, and get a bearing that will fit.
2002 4x4 GURU needed, front right differential.
