Default Help. Transmission

Original transmission is a 5 wire neutral safety switch, new transmission I'm installing is a 3 wire, how do I convert the wires to make it work?

2002 5.9l gas and original is a 46re with 5 pin
the transmission I got is either a 46 rh or re with 3 pin

Going from the older to the newer... requires a fair bit of finesse. You would likely be better off getting the correct trans for your year truck. There is an adapter to go the other way..... but, nothing for what you are up against.

Okay what about what wires to splice to make it work???? Asking because I'm in a time crunch bc I have to move out of state in 2 weeks
