Default 07 Ram 1500 4.7l BAD OIL FILTER?

Is there a specific, or an improper oil filter? I have a check gauges light that flashes at random. Well at idle typically or any time under 35 mph. No CEL.

Does oil pressure drop off to nothing at stops, but, come right back up to where it should be with even the slightest application of throttle?

No Sir. It's the only time the light comes on! I'm noticing a small leak potentially from oil filter. Battery died a few weeks ago and a few days later the guages light began flashing at said times. Battery is running good colts at DC check. Preformed electrical drain of battery....disconnect and turn lights on. The reset didn't work. No fluctuations in guages, no CEL.

Any decent parts store should be able to do it. Basically, they hook up their little box, put a load on the battery for 30 seconds or so, and see how much voltage drops. If it drops too much, battery is bad.

You would like to think it was good then, wouldn't ya?

I would check the battery connections, and have it tested anyway.......

Which gauge is indicating a problem when the check gauges flashes?

@Dodgevity none of the guage act out of order at all. Only time the "check gauges" light flashes is when its in idle, or typically under 35mph.
