curious about flow direction, you should be able to see it in photo, but facing (close) side says “inlet” with an arrow pointing down to other (far) side…. Not sure how to take this- sometimes arrow means flow direction, sometimes no… Only diagram I can find for this muffler shows (maybe) far side as inlet? Part number is 55366752AA
Hangers do somewhat tell a story, there is one in front, two in back- muffler has same configuration but will require a bit of fabrication to get a good hang height— if they work out to be the same direction.
Old muffler was Magnaflow that came with it, nice sound but I want it quieter now that it’s rusted out.
Seems like inlet would be close side relative to photo, with flow arrow. But it’s an odd one. I was hoping someone familiar with Mopar mufflers could confirm
The lack of experienced mechanics lol.....most mufflers (any of the ones I have seen in 30+ yrs) simply tell you where the "inlet" is, whether it is directly labeled (see below) or pointed to.

Depends on the manufacturer. When I did exhaust for a living, very few of our mufflers told ya when end was which. The inlet pipe was generally a bit larger than outlet, (assuming both were the 'same' size) simply because of the way ya run pipe.
