Default Occasional hard start/sputter

This issues driving me crazy. After my truck sits for at least an hour it sometimes won’t start right away. It’ll crank and sputter and take a few cranks to start. Noticed it helps if I hit the gas pedal. It has no codes, 57lbs of fuel pressure. Changed crank and cam sensor, new fuel injectors. Cleaned throttle body. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks

More info would be helpful. What year and engine? Have you had any significant events, like an overtemp, or maintenance done on the truck? Has truck always run fine and now suddenly hard to start?
Take a look at your plugs and check battery grounds. Let someone start the truck while you observe, and smell, the exhaust on startup.

2005 5.7. Nothing out of the ordinary, just started happening. Plugs done last year, just did the ignition wires, cleaned pcv valve. Runs great after its running. It does smell a bit rich. I’ll check grounds. I checked a few plugs and they looked good but I’ll check them all to be sure.

Yea it doesn’t happen once I get it running, it’ll start perfect over and over again. But after an hour is when it starts happening. But sometimes next day it starts right up.

Need a scanner that can read live data, and see what things look like when the engine is cold.

Any idea what to look for? I have a decent one that has live data and don’t see anything out of the ordinary.

Dig thru the data, engine not running, see if sensor readings make sense. Some won't show anything at all, as they are not active with the engine off. (O2 sensors, for instance.) Biggest ones I would be concerned with are engine temp, and map sensor. Throttle position sensor as well.
