Is the regulator built into the alrernator?? Trying to get used to navigating the forms seems like i'm all over the place!! I was on this forum years ago but at over 80 i do have memory loss couldn't find what email or password i used to sign back then!

The ground it was everything working fine after i replaced it....no warning lights etc: so far so good!

Voltage regulator is built into the PCM. A singularly BAD idea so far as I am concerned.... They tend to fail, and then it's New PCM time.... not an inexpensive proposition.

Would a warning light come on if overcharging? The battery dash clock is in the middle sometimes a little over!
Checked today battery 12.30. engin running 14.20

Well I had a cheap digital voltmeter once. Checked my Dodge, 18v running. Checked older Volvo, 18v. Checked neighbors car, 18v. Promptly threw it in the trash.
