Yes you would, or you can just ground pin #4 in the RFE connector.
Up to you, though you wouldn't be doing an 8HP70 or 90 swap; you have a 4x4. Unless you're willing to drop to a 2wd, you're going with an 8HP75 from a Ram. 8HP95 is what the Hellcat Durango and Trackhawk use; you're not gonna need the ability to handle 650+ ft/lbs to all 4 wheels.
Up to you, but how does commiefornia feel about trans swaps?

We don't have inspections, just emissions. As long as emissions are good they don't give a **** if it has all the wheels and tires or not
