P1501 code, no ABS light but cruise control not working

Did you check the VSS on the transmission, it does have output speed sensor. The sensor would be on the extended housing of the transmission.

Yes, I also replaced that sensor, but didn't change anything. According to the technical documents that sensor is not connected to the ABS module and cruise control.

Do you have four ABS. Or RWAL ABS. That means sensors at the front and rear or Just at the rear. If you have a scanner that can read ABS, you can jack up the truck with jack stands under it. Rotate each tire and read the RPM numbers. If you have zero at one wheel. You found the cause. Next step is to find out if you have a open wire or sensor. I have had Clock springs cause the same problem and also cause the vehicle to pull when driving.
