Default Extra Connector Location

Sorry if this isn’t the right place for this but I have a connector that I can not figure out where it goes and I’ve looked all over. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.7 and did a CAM and Lifter replacement on the engine as well as a MDS and EGR delete but I cut the 5 pin connector for the EGR off but now I’m left with this connector and I can’t for the life of me find a wiring diagram that has it or find a place for it. It’s part of the wiring behind the alternator. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

it’s a 2 wire connector with on Purple w/ red stripe and one blue wire

Im gonna try to include some pictures

I though that too, but looks like its plugged in.

I believe its coolant temp it comes in sideways down between the a/c compressor and alternator.

If you haven’t figured it out yet already, it goes down on the passenger side of the block.

Is the check engine lamp on when you start the motor? If it does, pull the code and that may help you where that connector goes too. I'm thinking it may go to a power steering switch on the pressure hose?
